The Sonic Conundrum (Part 2)
In the first part of my Sonic Conundrum article, we discussed how Sonic was never necessarily a good game when he first started out, and how the critical acclaim he received for his classic games was somewhat undeserved. If you would like to read the first part, you can find it Here.
For this second part of the article, we will be discussing how 'modern' or 3D rendered sonic games are actually more compelling and more appealing than their 2D side-scrolling predecessors.

The Sonic Conundrum (Part 1)
Ah, Sonic, one of the most beloved video game characters of all time.
Created by Sega in 1991 as an answer to Nintendo's ever-popular Super Mario, Sonic's rocket to stardom was quick and swift. His first game, Sonic the Hedgehog, met with overwhelmingly strong reception, and since then, he has always been a popular icon of gaming.
In recent years, Sonic hasn't had the best luck with his games, some of them being complete glitchy messes, and others have gotten decent reviews, but he hasn't seemed to been able to recapture the magic of his first games... Or has he?
Saying that Sonic has fallen from his 'previous glory' would indicate that his games were actually good at some point, right? So this presents the question: Were Sonic's games ever good?

Game Review: Firewatch
Firewatch Low FPS fix for Nvidia cards
Hello all,
So, I was experiencing low FPS while playing Firewatch. Sadly, I only found out the solution to my problem after I finished the game. But, lucky for you, I now have the solution and I have made for your convenience a short visual tutorial on how to fix it!
On my computer, Firewatch was using the integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated Nvidia card to process graphics. This will show you how to switch to using your dedicated Nvidia card for any of you less techy individuals.

Game Review: Super Mario 64
N64 / Wii / WiiU |
Yes, its the ever-endearing classic! Starring Mario his very first ever 3D rendered video game appearance! Super Mario 64! No only did this game introduce us to Mario in 3D, but it helped show us that 3D games were fun and here to stay.
Released in 1996, this game has become one of the most beloved Mario classics released to date.
